Job summary

Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) is hiring a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our HR team at the Arlington, VA location. This on‑site role requires 3 days in the office and supports the Emerging Talent Program as well as overall recruiting operations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in HR or related field (or equivalent experience) and 0–2 years in admin/recruiting, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to handle confidential information in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent full‑time professional experience.
• 0–2 years of professional experience in administrative support, recruiting coordination, or HR support.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational & communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Interview Logistics: schedule and manage candidate interviews across multiple stakeholders.
• Support Recruiting Operations: post job descriptions in the ATS and external platforms, track candidate progress.
• Maintain Documentation & Compliance: collect, organize, and file candidate documentation, including reference checks and I‑9 processing.
• Partner Across Stakeholders: collaborate with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR to support hiring needs across multiple offices.
• Manage Recruiting Systems & Tools: update and maintain Talent Acquisition materials, templates, and documentation within SharePoint and other systems.
• Enhance Candidate Experience: provide responsive, professional communication to candidates throughout recruitment lifecycle.
• Drive Operational Efficiency: identify opportunities to improve recruiting processes and reduce bottlenecks.
