Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in swine production.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in farm settings with livestock and variable conditions.
• Willingness to perform hands-on animal handling and manual labor.
• Hearing protection in noisy areas.
• Gestation, farrowing, and small swine care experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop leadership skills across production and employee engagement.
• Enhance leadership, management, and organizational abilities with staff and stakeholders.
• Gain practical experience in top swine facilities and animal husbandry.
• Relocate to various locations and states to broaden horizons.
• Follow production, safety, HR, and biosecurity protocols.
• Communicate daily production and animal health concerns to management.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and understand impact on finances.
• Adhere to biosecurity, animal welfare, and safety protocols.
