Job summary

Fox Ridge LLC's Pipestone Emerging Leader program in Corsica, South Dakota, provides an accelerated training track to cultivate future leaders in swine production. The role emphasizes hands-on farm experience, leadership development, and exposure to gestation, gilt development, and farrowing processes.

Participants rotate across locations to broaden management styles, learn production, safety, HR, and biosecurity protocols, and contribute to daily production decisions and animal health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in swine production.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Exposure to livestock, odors, dust, and varying rural climates.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop leadership skills across production and employee engagement.
• Improve leadership, management, and organizational abilities to interface with staff and stakeholders.
• Gain practical experience in top swine facilities and animal husbandry to reduce herd stress and maximize production.
• Relocate to various locations and states to broaden horizons and management styles.
