Job summary

Coughlin Porter Lundeen is seeking a structural staff engineer in Seattle to design and prepare construction documents across diverse project types. You will lead in-house design teams and work directly with clients, contributing to project management from design through construction.

The role requires 0–4 years of structural design experience, EIT licensure, and strong communication skills in English. Travel and local driving are part of the expected duties.

Qualifications

• BSCE or MSCE degree (MSCE Preferred).
• 0-4 years structural design experience.
• Licensure: EIT required.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be able to prioritize, manage time and projects, and multi-task in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Works effectively as part of a project team.
• Fluency in English with strong verbal and written skills.
• Ability to drive locally and travel domestically as needed.
