Job summary

WSP USA invites applications for an Early Career Structural Engineer to work from our Tampa, FL or Miami, FL offices. You will collaborate with our structural team on projects aligned with client objectives and industry challenges, with training in structural design and digital design technologies.

Responsibilities include structural design of new and renovated buildings across the U.S., analysis of timber, concrete, steel, and masonry, and use of BIM tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 0 to 1 years of relevant post education experience.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling software, such as Autodesk Revit.
• Familiarity with design/build concepts and construction codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design of new buildings and restoration of existing buildings throughout the United States.
• Analyze and design superstructures and foundations in timber, concrete, steel, and masonry.
• Utilize latest technology and digital tools for design.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Occasional travel may be required.
