Job summary

Circle K in New Albany, IN is seeking a full-time Site Manager to lead daily store operations. You will recruit, train and supervise staff, manage scheduling, cash handling and inventory, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with suppliers, resolving customer issues, and upholding safety and compliance. A HS diploma and valid license are preferred; experience in retail is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail sales experience preferred.
• Experience performing essential duties and responsibilities.
• Ability to supervise and train staff on equipment and procedures.
• Ability to supervise and manage store functions as listed in CSR/ASM descriptions.
• Ability to use a computer for reports, inventory, cash control, notices, etc.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• English communication skills (oral and written).
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire and train employees to ensure excellent customer service.
• Develop and assign tasks to keep site clean, stocked, organized and compliant.
• Maintain professional image among staff and supervisor.
• Schedule employees to maximize customer service and site appearance.
• Apply non-discriminatory management and staff development practices.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and resolve customer complaints promptly.
• Promote a safe, positive image in the community.
• Prepare performance appraisals and provide feedback to staff.
• Train employees on safety procedures and company standards.
• Ensure timely communication with all site employees and Market Manager.
• Organize files, maintain manuals, and manage reports and inventory.
• Ensure shelves are stocked, displayed well and priced correctly.
• Post employment posters and notices as required.
