Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with solid academic record; all majors welcome or completed Walgreens Community Internship Program, or High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and solid business acumen.
• Completion of Store Manager training (LEAP) or willingness to complete Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks of start date.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to accept promotion into a Store Manager position, which could require relocation.
• Ability to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets within the same hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Supervises front end and pharmacy operations, including scheduling and time records.
• Leads and trains team members; recruitment, performance management, and discipline.
• Collaborates with external partners to support store operations and community outreach.
• Analyzes financial and performance data; drives actions for store improvement.
• Supports Pharmacy during busy periods, including functioning as a pharmacy technician when needed.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, laws, and safety standards.
• Maintains store appearance and asset protection; manages cash handling and inventory controls.
