Responsibilities
- Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters, managing the front end of the store and providing recommendations on pharmacy and retail store operations.
- Supports the Store Manager in overall store operations, manages store activities in the absence of the Store Manager, and ensures proper merchandising and asset protection.
- Leads and manages team members including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline to meet company goals.
- Enhances customer experience by engaging with customers, resolving complaints, and coaching team members on service excellence.
- Supervises store operations including scheduling, inventory management, cash handling, and compliance with laws and policies.
- Analyzes business performance data to create action plans for store improvement and supports pharmacy operations during busy periods.
- Leads talent acquisition, performance management, and development initiatives to build a strong, diverse team.
- Completes training programs, maintains required licenses, and engages in self-development activities.
- Ensures effective communication within the team and supports strategic planning efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, or completion of Walgreens internship or supervisory experience.
- Leadership skills, business ethics, self-motivation, and strong communication skills.
- Willingness to complete required training and work flexible hours.
- Ability to relocate or transfer within Walgreens locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Management experience, especially in retail or pharmacy, is advantageous.
