Job summary

Michael Page US is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support day‑to‑day project execution on diverse commercial construction projects. You will manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and documentation while coordinating with subcontractors and field teams to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.

The role focuses on developing technical and leadership skills to progress into a Project Manager position, with access to mentorship, training, and clear advancement paths.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial construction experience.
• Experience with a reputable commercial general contractor.
• Strong exposure to ground-up construction.
• Broad project exposure is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes from preconstruction through closeout.
• Comfortable working with subcontractors, field teams, architects, and owners.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ambitious to take on increasing responsibility and grow into project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Project Manager with day-to-day project execution.
• Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Assisting with subcontractor coordination and buyout.
• Tracking budgets, schedules, procurement, and project costs.
• Working closely with Superintendents to maintain communication between the field and office.
• Participating in owner, architect, subcontractor, and internal project meetings.
• Supporting project closeout, punch lists, and turnover.
• Developing the technical and leadership skills required to progress into a Project Manager position.
