LeoForce in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Preconstruction Engineer to support the preconstruction team in delivering accurate, competitive, and well-organized project estimates.

The role involves quantity take-offs, assisting in cost estimates, subcontractor outreach, design reviews, and cost data tracking, with hands-on training to learn company systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in construction, 1+ year in estimating.
• Strong desire to learn and build a career in preconstruction.
• Proficiency in Excel; exposure to estimating software is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication; excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs under supervision of Preconstruction Managers and Estimators.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bid packages.
• Conduct subcontractor outreach and collect bid information.
• Support design reviews, constructability analysis, and cost data tracking.
• Participate in client and design team meetings as appropriate.
• Learn company systems, processes, and standards through hands-on training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
