Job summary

Seneca Resources in the United States is seeking a Software Developer to build and maintain .NET applications under guidance from senior developers. You will participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will work with C#, ASP.NET and related Microsoft technologies, troubleshoot issues, contribute to code reviews, and stay current with evolving .NET frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as: C# / .NET, ASP.NET, Java, Python.
• Familiarity with software development best practices and object-oriented programming.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet project deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies is a plus, and additional training will be provided.
• Previous public sector experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain .NET applications under the guidance of senior developers.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Build applications using C#, ASP.NET, and related Microsoft technologies.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues to improve application performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Learn and apply modern development practices and emerging Microsoft technologies.
• Contribute to code reviews and technical documentation.
• Stay current with evolving .NET frameworks and software development best practices.
