Job summary

Lazard Asset Management in New York seeks a motivated Portfolio Analyst to support client servicing and development of relationships, including creating marketing materials like portfolio commentaries, pitch decks and quarterly letters.

You will collaborate with leadership, sales, marketing, legal and compliance to manage multiple projects and deliver data-driven presentations using PowerPoint and Excel; CFA designation and Python/SQL skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience around investment teams.
• Demonstrated passion for financial markets and ability to build data-driven presentations.
• Experience with portfolio analytics and client-facing materials is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate new business and client servicing materials (portfolio commentaries, pitch decks, quarterly letters).
• Assist with ad-hoc portfolio team requests, RFPs, DDQs, and RFIs.
• Liaise with leadership, sales, marketing, legal, compliance to communicate, complete and manage projects.
• Learn to anticipate needs of the team and clients.
• Assist with client commentaries and requests.
• Attend team meetings to understand markets and performance drivers.
