JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Financial Controller in the Emerging Markets group to ensure accuracy and timeliness of books for the Brazil Equities Derivatives business. The role requires strong GL and P&L reconciliation, plus collaboration with product control, legal entity controllers, and cross-functional partners across multiple time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of General Ledger processes and month-end close.
• Ability to partner with product control, treasury and accounting groups.
• Analytical skills to understand complex systems and dependencies.
• Excellent Excel, database and data management abilities.

Responsabilités

• Reconcile balance sheet and P&L for Brazil Equities Derivatives across GL and risk systems.
• Support multiple lines of business within CIB, including Currencies, Rates, and Equities.
• Collaborate with controllers, middle office, and technology for strong financial control.
• Analyze end-to-end trading activity flow to apply accounting policies.
• Maintain integrity of income statement and balance sheet at period ends.
• Lead projects to improve controls and streamline reporting.
• Prepare primary financial statements for earnings and SEC filings.
• Manage intercompany eliminations and consolidation adjustments.
