Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Financial Controller within the Emerging Markets Currencies & Emerging Markets group to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the Firm's books for the Brazil Equities Derivatives business. This role oversees GL reconciliation, balance sheet substantiation, inter-entity control, and month-end close in partnership with product control and legal entity controllers.

The candidate will lead end-to-end financial reporting, drive improvements, and coordinate with global teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting processes and month-end close responsibilities.
• Ability to build partnerships across product businesses and corporate finance groups.
• Ability to influence middle and front office partners to deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile balance sheet and P&L across general ledger, risk management systems, and operating systems for the Brazil Equities Derivatives business.
• Support a specific line of business within Corporate & Investment Bank incl. Currencies & Emerging Markets, Rates, Credit Trading, Securitized Products Group, Equities, and Risk.
• Collaborate with line of business controllers, middle office, business managers, technology, and operations to ensure financial control.
• Analyze end-to-end flow of trading activities, booking models, product configurations, and trade economics to apply accounting policies and enhance controls.
