Job summary

Australia-Employment in Orlando, FL is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3+ years of civil litigation experience to join our hybrid, permanent team. The role covers general liability, commercial, and business litigation, with opportunities to handle depositions, motions, and trial preparation.

You will work with experienced trial attorneys, contribute to case strategy, interact with clients, and develop broad litigation skills across matters from pleadings to hearings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience in complex litigation, general liability, commercial litigation, or business litigation strongly preferred.
• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Handle matters throughout the full civil litigation lifecycle, from initial case assessment through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
• Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings, mediations, and other court proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and develop persuasive legal arguments.
• Assist with trial strategy, preparation, and execution.
• Communicate directly with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, and other parties.
• Work closely with senior attorneys to develop and execute case strategy.
• Manage increasing portions of matters independently while maintaining high-quality client service.
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and participate in the continued development of the firm’s litigation practice.
