Job summary

Sekisui House U.S., Inc. is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to support land acquisition, entitlement, and land development for residential communities in Colorado.

You will coordinate consultants and contractors, track budgets, schedules, and regulatory documentation, and serve as a liaison with municipalities and utilities. This role blends office and field work with travel to project sites; a bachelor's in engineering or related field and 2+ years in land development are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, planning, or real estate development, or 6–8 years of equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in land development, civil engineering, or construction project management.
  • Experience supporting land development projects in the homebuilding industry.
  • Exposure to site development permitting processes and consultant/contractor coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day land development activities, including grading, utilities, and site preparation.
  • Monitor schedules, budgets, and scopes for timely and cost-effective milestones.
  • Manage consultants, engineers, and contractors, tracking progress and deliverables.
  • Prepare and review development plans, permits, and regulatory documentation.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and enforce safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with municipalities, utilities, and regulatory agencies for inspections and approvals.
  • Maintain project files, documents, and budget tracking for assigned projects.
