Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat in Groton, CT is seeking an entry-level Lead Bonder and semi-skilled workers to join the Lead Bonder Department. This role requires reading construction drawings, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs while working with lead and other metals.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, 0-5 years of relevant experience, and be able to work all shifts. Qualification includes CNC operation and willingness to obtain radiation worker status.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma, GED, or be a current High School Senior, OR have 2+ years of relevant technical experience
• 0-5 years of experience
• CNC operation experience and knowledge
• Must be able to work all shifts and in all environments including Radiological areas
• Individuals are required to possess their own basic hand tools

Responsibilities

• Willing to accept road job assignments
• Follow all safety procedures, lead compliance plan and technical work documents associated with daily work assignments as a Lead Bonder
