Job summary

Qualifications

• Must lead a team of 10–15 workers.
• Ability to read blueprints and procedures.
• Capable of interfacing with engineering and quality departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the activities of approximately 10-15 hanger welding employees in the performance of welding of hangers on hull to support ships systems
• Coach and Mentor welders to establish a driven and skilled workforce
• Primary point of contact to interface with engineering, ship's management, quality and other trade departments
• Lead the team to achievement of company goals for safety, quality, cost, schedule and continuous improvement
• Take ownership of team performance
