Job summary

Hiner Outdoor Living in Colorado Springs, CO, is hiring a Landscaping Construction Foreman‑In‑Training (Right Hand) to join our growing team. This entry path offers hands‑on learning from an established foreman, with a clear path to lead a crew and advance within the company.

Starting wage is $25–$30 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a Simple IRA retirement plan, profit sharing, paid time off, a company cell phone, and a Monday–Friday schedule with overtime

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in landscape installation, hardscape, or construction.
• Experience with installation of outdoor water features is a huge positive!
• Strong communication skills; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus; a demonstrated leadership mentality is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and be drug‑free.

Responsibilities

• Spending a year working alongside our tenured Foreman, learning the ropes and the Hiner Outdoor Living Way, before taking on a crew of your own.
• Transporting materials to and from job sites safely utilizing the company vehicle.
• Working on various installation projects, including but not limited to water features, patios, retaining walls, outdoor kitchens, fire pits, irrigation, and more.
• Working with a wide variety of materials, including but not limited to boulders, strip stone, concrete, plants, and plant materials.
• Actively working alongside the team and crew, delegating and demonstrating a high quality of work.
• Proactively enforcing quality and safety standards.
• Providing excellent service to all clients, including communicating professionally and clearly while acting as the face of the company to current and potential clientele.
• Acting with autonomy and using creativity to make decisions impacting project design, execution, and implementation.
• Other duties as assigned.
