Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Landscape Architect Intern to join our team. You will assist with project feature design, prepare construction drawings for landscape and site design, and support the construction phase through site visits and coordination with contractors.

The role requires pursuing a Landscape Architecture degree with at least 60 hours completed by Summer 2027; no experience required. Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rino, Photoshop, and InDesign is desirable.

Qualifications

No experience is required if you are in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Landscape Architecture.
Must have completed 60 hours towards a Landscape Architecture degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
Basic understanding of AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rino, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Responsibilities

Project feature design development and Illustrative presentation graphic support.
Prepare construction drawings for landscape and general site design including layout, grading and hardscape.
Provide support during the construction phase of landscape architecture projects, including coordination with contractors, site visits, and ensuring design intent is maintained.
Support project team members in the design of projects of varying scales and types.
