Job summary
Applied Systems, a leader in insurtech, seeks an entry-level Instructional Designer to craft customer-facing eLearning from storyboard to delivery. You will collaborate with seasoned designers, PMs, and SMEs, owning projects early in your career and expanding expertise in our products and the insurance industry.
You will learn adult-learning fundamentals, apply course development standards, and contribute to strategic training planning while receiving structured mentorship and hands-on project
Qualifications
- Entry-level instructional design role with mentorship.
Responsibilities
- Design and build engaging digital learning – eLearning courses, video, animation, and simulations.
- Use AI tools to research and create course roadmaps and storyboards.
- Grow SME knowledge of Applied Systems products and the insurance industry.
- Analyze learner needs and suggest effective teaching approaches.
- Collaborate with SMEs, product managers, and training teams to release courseware.
- Apply development standards to ensure consistent quality.
- Contribute to planning discussions shaping customer training direction.
- Work with LMS Administrator to publish catalogs, tracks, and plans.
