Job summary

Troon is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Superintendent at Rouge Park Golf Course in Detroit, MI. The role focuses on overseeing maintenance and construction, budgeting, staff supervision, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or AA in agronomy/ horticulture/ plant/ soil science preferred.
• 3–4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance and construction of the golf course to established standards.
• Manage maintenance staff and ensure budget and capital plans are followed.
• Coordinate procurement of supplies and maintain records of maintenance activities and costs.
• Ensure licensing requirements and safety procedures are followed.
