Job summary

Mister Car Wash is seeking an Assistant General Manager in Training (AGMIT) to develop leadership skills in a fast-paced, customer-facing setting. The accelerated program partners with a Certified Trainer to prepare you for the Assistant General Manager role and, ultimately, to lead your own location as a General Manager.

You will learn daily operations, staffing, performance driving, coaching, and hands-on facility maintenance while growing within a nationwide, people-first company.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience: at least 1 year leading a team, supervising shifts, or managing people in a customer-facing setting.
• Understanding of high-volume retail or service operations and delivering consistent, high-quality customer experiences.
• Ability to take initiative and model company values while driving performance and accountability.
• Strong coaching, feedback, and development skills to help team members grow.
• Organizational skills to stay focused in fast-moving environments with competing priorities.
• Positive, outgoing attitude and comfort working outdoors in varied weather while remaining energetic.
• Desire to grow into a leadership role within a rapidly expanding, people-first company.

Responsibilities

• Learn daily operations fundamentals from opening/closing routines to quality and safety standards.
• Understand performance data and make decisions that drive results.
• Strengthen team development, coaching, and performance management.
• Support staffing, recruitment, and employee relations.
• Learn basic functional and mechanical skills to maintain facilities and meet quality expectations.
• Prepare to advance into the Assistant General Manager role as a launchpad to leading a location.
