Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or related field is required.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability and willingness to travel periodically for field assignments is required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel are required.

Responsibilities

• Support sediment investigation and remediation projects, including field sampling of sediment, surface water, porewater, groundwater, and soil.
• Conduct fieldwork including soil, surface water, sediment, porewater, and groundwater sampling, geotechnical drilling, contractor oversight, QA/QC, and remediation system O&M.
• Collaborate with engineers, geologists, ecologists, and other technical specialists on multidisciplinary project teams.
• Support planning and implementation of sediment assessments, RI, feasibility studies, and remediation designs.
• Assist with dredging, capping, habitat restoration, and other remediation design and implementation projects.
