The Irvine office of Fisher Phillips seeks junior associates to join a sophisticated management-side labor and employment practice representing employers throughout California. The role involves handling litigation matters from inception through resolution, with responsibilities including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and depositions, as well as mediations and settlement negotiations.

Qualified candidates will have a J.D.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• Two to three years of employment litigation experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and case-management skills; and
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Draft pleadings and handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Propound and respond to written discovery and draft motions.
• Prepare for, take, and defend depositions; participate in mediations and settlements.
