The Irvine office of Fisher Phillips LLP seeks a junior Employment Litigation Associate with two to three years of experience to join a sophisticated labor and employment practice representing employers throughout California.

Qualified candidates will handle matters from inception through resolution, including drafting pleadings, discovery, and motions, and preparing for depositions and mediations. Wage-and-hour class/PAGA experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California.
• Two to three years of employment litigation experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational, communication, and case-management skills.

Irvine – Junior Employment Litigation Associate

The Irvine office of Fisher Phillips seeks junior associates with two to three years of experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join a sophisticated management-side labor and employment practice representing employers throughout California.

Qualified candidates will have experience handling litigation matters at various stages, from inception through resolution. Candidates should be comfortable drafting pleadings; propounding and responding to written discovery; drafting dispositive and non-dispositive motions; preparing for, taking, and defending depositions; and participating in mediations and settlement negotiations. Experience in wage-and-hour class and PAGA actions is preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school;
• Admission to the State Bar of California;
• Two to three years of employment litigation experience;
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills;
• Strong organizational, communication, and case-management skills; and
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The yearly salary range for this position is $195,000 – $230,000. Actual base pay within this range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, relevant experience, internal equity, skills, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
