Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. is seeking an Associate Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the development of embedded software powering our innovative products.

You will work with experienced engineers on design, implementation, testing, and support of software that interfaces with hardware systems and enables product functionality. The role requires knowledge of C/C++, embedded systems, debugging, version control, and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of software development fundamentals and programming concepts.
• Experience with C and/or C++ programming through coursework, projects, internships, or professional experience.
• Understanding of embedded systems concepts, microcontrollers, or hardware-software interaction.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and problem‑solving techniques.
• Exposure to version control systems such as Git or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and debug embedded software and firmware components under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Participate in software development activities including coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Assist in integrating software with hardware systems and embedded platforms.
• Support software verification, validation, and troubleshooting efforts throughout the development cycle.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, systems, applications, and product engineering teams.
• Contribute to technical documentation, software design discussions, and code reviews.
• Apply software engineering principles and development best practices to assigned tasks.
