Job summary

KAISER PERMANENTE in Anaheim, California, seeks a Graduate Registered Nurse Anesthetist (GRNA) to provide general and regional anesthesia across a broad patient mix, from neonatal to geriatric. The role requires collaboration within an anesthesia team alongside physicians, CRNAs, and anesthesia techs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
• California RN license required.
• CRNA license/certification within 5 months of hire required.
• ACLS and BLS required at hire from American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Administers anesthesia to all age groups.
• Upholds Kaiser Permanente policies and procedures and applicable laws.
• Evaluates patients pre-operatively by interview and exam.
• Collaborates with MD to select anesthetic for the patient.
• Monitors intraoperative patient status and responds to emergencies.
• Maintains anesthesia equipment and drug accounting as per policy.
