Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball in Muskogee, OK is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the design phase, pre-construction and construction phase management. You will assist with scope, scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and bid processes while coordinating with the design team.

The role requires the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with internal teams and subcontractors. Prior construction exposure and a BA/Associate degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/Associates degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, interpret, and understand construction drawings.
• Working knowledge of project budgeting and pricing of materials and labor.
• 2+ years of experience in the construction field and may lead projects up to $2.5M in scope.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Management team to help manage and estimate construction projects.
• Review drawings for correctness; prepare bid proposals.
• Develop relationships with sub-contractors for bid information.
• Support in collecting data for monthly WIP reports and budgets.
• Maintain project schedule and monitor progress; interface with subs as needed.
• Prepare project status reports and summarize information and trends.
