Job summary

University Partners seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support daily property operations, leasing performance, and resident services at our Oakland property. You will assist with staff supervision, leasing approvals, marketing execution, and financial coordination while preparing to cover the Community Manager role in their absence.

The role requires 1–2 years in leasing or property management, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Entrata and MS Office; weekend/peak-season work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of leasing, leadership, or property management experience.
• Proficiency in Entrata and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in supervising and training the leasing team.
• Review and approve lease applications per criteria.
• Maintain data integrity in Entrata (traffic, leases, renewals, work orders).
• Meet with Community Manager and Market Director to discuss leasing performance.
• Support marketing calendar, campus outreach, and advertising initiatives.
• Track occupancy, pricing, and leasing activity; support roommate matching.
