Job summary

At K&L Gates, we are seeking a junior associate to join the Commercial Disputes practice in our Pittsburgh office. The ideal candidate will have two to three years of experience with general commercial litigation, MDL, or class actions in state and federal courts.

Candidates should have experience independently conducting research, drafting substantive pleadings and motions, and organizing, conducting and managing the discovery practice, including e-discovery. Candidates must have a J.D.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of experience in general commercial litigation matters, MDL, or class actions in state and federal courts.
• Experience independently conducting research, drafting substantive pleadings and motions, and organizing, conducting and managing discovery including e-discovery.

Responsibilities

• Handle general commercial litigation matters, multi-district litigation, and class actions in state and federal courts.
• Conduct independent research and draft pleadings and motions.
• Organize, conduct, and manage discovery including e-discovery.
• Collaborate with experienced lawyers and provide mentoring and client contact opportunities.
