Job summary

GHP Environmental Architecture is seeking an Emerging Architect to support Project Managers and Project Architects in day-to-day project delivery. You will gain exposure to multiple project types and management styles while developing essential architectural skills.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor of Architecture with at least 3 years of experience; licensure in progress is encouraged. The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and proactive project involvement within a culture that

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture degree minimum required.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Working towards or has an Architecture License is recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in day-to-day tasks with Project Manager(s) and Project Architects.
• Contributes to planning overall project strategy from start to finish.
• Supports scheduling and coordination with sub-consultants and team members.
• Assists in budgeting the overall project time input and fees.
• Helps develop documentation for contracts and construction.
• Maintains the GHP project file and archival documentation.
• Alerts PM/Director to issues arising during the project.
• Uses technology to enhance project efficiency and performance.
• Reviews account payables related to the project and offers recommendations.
• Provides leadership to project coordinators and team members.
• Ensures consistent application of company policies and procedures.
• Maintains understanding of applicable laws and regulations for the project.
