Job summary

MedVet is a fast-growing Emergency and Specialty veterinary provider seeking an Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor to lead the Clinical Services team in Campbell, CA. The role supports our ER team on evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment, overseeing staff and ensuring patient care quality.

Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday 3pm-1:30am. Compensation: $42.25–$48.50/hour with evening/weekend differentials.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills.
• Prior veterinary experience required, emergency experience preferred.
• Proficient in calculations (drugs, CRIs, unit conversions).
• Flexibility with work hours and ability to work extra hours when necessary.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Escalates issues to Clinical Manager
• Functions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s)
• Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needs
• Prioritizes and organizes workflows for shift
• Directly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift which includes but is not limited to:
• Manages early call-ins, early departures, call-offs, sharing of resources, breaks and lunches for team members
• Assigns team member responsibilities per shift
• Addresses process or employee issues during their shift
• Communicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely
• Serves as first level responder to client concerns and drug escalations
• Trains and mentors new team members
• Provides input to Clinical Manager on team member performance evaluations
• Participates in on-call responsibilities
• Participates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinely

We are looking for: Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor Schedule: Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday 3pm-130a Compensation: This position has an initial hiring range of $42.25 to $48.50 per hour based on skillset and experience. We support our evening and weekend caregivers with lucrative shift differentials:

• Hours worked from 8pm - 11:59pm = base pay + $4/hour
• Hours worked from 12am - 7:59am = base pay + $6/hour
• Hours worked on weekends (day or night) = base pay + $3/hour + any applicable differential
