Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Licensed Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our busy Emergency department. We offer a sign-on bonus up to $12,000 and potential relocation support for qualified candidates. Pay ranges from $30.00 to $42.50 per hour, depending on experience and advancement through our competency assessment.

Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience. Competitive shift differential applies for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Licensed Emergency Veterinary Technician with current credentials.
• Experience in emergency department care.
• Comfort with anesthesia, monitoring, and analgesia.
• Ability to triage emergencies and monitor vitals.
• Proficient in phlebotomy and IV catheter placement.
• Ability to mentor and train colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients.
• Triage emergency cases and record vitals.
• Perform digital radiography with proper technique.
• Place IV catheters and perform phlebotomy.
• Mentor and train other staff.
