South Carolina Emergency and Specialty Care, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, is seeking an energetic Veterinary Technician to join our 24/7 emergency team in Columbia, SC.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of emergency or high-level veterinary experience, strong communication, customer service, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. We offer a robust benefits package and opportunities for growth.

• Minimum two years in emergency vet settings or similar high-level duties.

Responsabilidades

• Assist emergency veterinarians delivering lifesaving care.
• Perform imaging positioning and operating diagnostic equipment.
• Monitor anesthesia and sedation, troubleshoot.
• Wound care, splinting, bandaging and medication administration.
• Venipuncture and basic/advanced life support including CPR.
• Triage emergencies and monitor hospitalized patients.
• Discuss treatments and costs with clients to improve experience.
