Rarebreed Veterinary Partners in Pennsylvania seeks a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our 24/7 emergency and specialty hospital team. You will triage, assess, perform nursing duties, administer treatments, and collaborate with emergency and specialty teams.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT) required.
• Emergency and/or specialty experience preferred.
• Strong technical nursing skills and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and organized in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to patient advocacy and exceptional client service.
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess emergency patients upon presentation.
• Obtain patient histories and perform nursing assessments.
• Place and maintain intravenous catheters; collect and process laboratory samples.
• Administer medications, fluids, blood products, and treatments as directed.
• Monitor hospitalized and critical care patients; assist with procedures and anesthesia monitoring.
