Rarebreed Veterinary Partners is hiring a Daytime Certified Veterinary Technician to join our emergency department in the Allentown area. The role requires CVT/LVT/RVT credentials with strong nursing skills for handling critically ill patients.

You will triage, assess, and monitor patients, administer treatments, and collaborate with our emergency and specialty teams to provide compassionate, high-quality care 24/7. This is a fast-paced setting that rewards teamwork and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT).
• Previous emergency and/or specialty experience preferred.
• Strong technical nursing skills and critical thinking.
• Able to stay calm and organized under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess emergency patients upon presentation.
• Obtain histories and perform nursing assessments.
• Place and maintain IV catheters and collect lab samples.
• Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as directed.
• Monitor patients and assist with stabilization and anesthesia.
• Maintain accurate medical records and provide client communication.
• Collaborate with emergency and specialty teams.
