Job summary

RiNoVet Emergency Medicine in Denver’s RiNo district seeks an experienced Emergency Veterinary Technician for overnight shifts. You will join a passionate team delivering exceptional emergency and critical care, with board-certified specialists backing the facility and a strong focus on compassionate client service.

Preference given to credentialed technicians, but experienced on-the-job trained technicians are encouraged to apply; weekends required and flexible scheduling offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in emergency veterinary medicine and critical care settings.
• CVT/RVT/LVT credentials preferred; on-the-job trained candidates welcome.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee emergency patient care and monitoring.
• Assist with induction, intubation and anesthesia monitoring.
• Provide medication administration and catheterization as needed.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Emergency Veterinary Technician - Overnight

Expectations of this position:

• Advanced knowledge of emergency veterinary medicine (CPR, induction/intubation, anesthesia monitoring, phlebotomy, catheterizations, medication administration, restraint, aseptic and sterile techniques, critical care monitoring, hospitalized patient care and procedures, etc.)
• Ability to work with different types of people and learning styles, capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Must possess a collaborative mindset open to growth and change as the hospital evolves.
• Schedule availability to work overnight or swing shifts. Weekends are required.
• Versatile and innovative in approaching problems
