BluePearl Pet Hospital in the Pittsburgh area is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Technician Supervisor who can motivate, engage, and train a team of veterinary professionals. You will mentor staff, coach teammates through stressed cases, and collaborate with hospital leadership to organize meetings and training while delivering exceptional patient care.

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician Supervisor , you will...

• Serve as a mentor to staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to be continuously aware and proactive at anticipating and addressing patient and client needs and to seek assistance with escalated, stressful situations.
• Works with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Support and mentor the technicians by utilizing your advanced technical skills.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.

• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seeks assistance in resolution .
• Provide feedback leadership and works to develop performance improvement plans.
• Other related duties as assigned.
