MedVet Emergency and Specialty Provider

MedVet is a rapidly expanding Emergency and Specialty veterinary provider with practices across the country. We offer advanced medical treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, cardiac ablations, glaucoma treatments, physical rehabilitation, dermatology, and more. Position: Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor

Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts (swing/evening), including weekends.

In our ER, every day presents new challenges and opportunities. We are looking for technicians who thrive in a fast-paced environment, can adapt quickly, and manage the stress of critical cases effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Escalate issues to the Clinical Manager
• Function as a scheduled Clinical Services team member
• Collaborate with other departments regarding patient and client needs
• Prioritize and organize workflow for the shift
• Manage team members during the shift, including scheduling, responsibilities, and addressing issues
• Communicate schedule changes and performance concerns to the Clinical Manager
• Respond to client concerns and drug escalations
• Train and mentor new team members
• Participate in performance evaluations and on-call responsibilities
• Attend management or administrative meetings

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills
• Veterinary experience required; surgery experience preferred
• Proficient in calculations related to drugs, infusions, and conversions
• Flexible with work hours and able to work additional hours if needed
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Compensation and Benefits:

Starting hourly rate: $42.25 - $48.50, based on experience and skillset. Evening and weekend shifts are supplemented with lucrative differentials:

• 8pm - 11:59pm: +$4/hour
• 12am - 7:59am: +$6/hour
• Weekend (day or night): +$3/hour + applicable differential
