Garden State Veterinary Specialists in Eatontown, NJ is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our busy Emergency department. You will support doctors and technicians, restrain patients, prepare samples, monitor vitals, assist with radiographs, and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of veterinary experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to doctors and technicians
• Restrain patients for exams and procedures
• Obtain and prepare samples for diagnostic testing
• Monitor and document patient’s vital signs
• Assist with obtaining radiographs
• Properly use and maintain hospital equipment
