PetVet Care Centers’ Northside Emergency Pet Clinic in Westminster, Colorado, is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Assistant to join our fast-paced team. You will support veterinarians and technicians by cleaning, restraining patients, taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and maintaining records—delivering exceptional care for pets and comfort for clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of Veterinary Assistant experience.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to all patients.
• Greet patients and owners, weigh patients and record vital signs on arrival.
• Triage patients, assist with exams, and restrain patients as directed by licensed staff.
• Calm and soothe anxious patients; assist with medications and procedures.
• Perform laboratory tests and radiographs; operate hospital equipment.
• Maintain medical records and ensure proper documentation and safety.
