Destination Pet LLC in Irving, Texas, is a national network of pet-obsessed professionals elevating the love and lives of pet families. We are seeking a Veterinary Assistant (Urgent Care & Emergency) to work at the top of your license with transparent pay and a structured career ladder.

You will perform nursing/triage, diagnostics, and care using modern equipment, including DR imaging and in-house lab analytics. Join a team committed to high standards and ongoing growth.

We are a well-established, full-service small animal hospital with a legacy of excellence in Westminster. Our state-of-the-art facility features eight dedicated DVMs and a passionate support team committed to the highest standards of care. We are dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in diagnostics, medical treatments, surgical procedures, and preventative wellness. We provide top-of-the-line medical, surgical, and dental equipment, as well as an in-house IDEXX laboratory and diagnostic ultrasonography.

Your Role

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will be encouraged to work at the top of your skill level and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient-first mindset. We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently.

You will primarily utilize your skills in:

• Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
• Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.
