Job summary

Saint Francis Veterinary Specialists, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner, is seeking a Full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join a collaborative team in Decatur, GA. The role involves delivering emergency care, managing hospitalized cases, and performing surgeries within a supportive network focused on patient outcomes.

Compensation is competitive with a PROSAL model starting at $180K/year, with consideration of credentials, experience, and location.

Qualifications

• DVM / VMD or equivalent degree required.
• Active State Veterinary Board License in good standing for the intended state.
• Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligibility.
• Experience in emergency medicine or completion of small animal rotating or emergency internships is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for sick/injured patients and manage hospitalized cases.
• Assess, diagnose and develop/oversee treatment plans.
• Partner with technicians to ensure high-quality execution of care.
• Perform surgeries, deliver critical care, and maintain high standards in the ED.
