South Atlanta Veterinary Emergency & Specialty, a Thrive Pet Healthcare partner serving Fayetteville and the greater Atlanta area, is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. You will deliver real-time emergency care, manage hospitalized patients, perform surgeries, and collaborate with a skilled team to support patient outcomes.

A DVM/VMD and active state license are required; DEA license eligibility is expected; prior emergency experience is highly encouraged.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM / VMD) or equivalent required.
• Active State Veterinary Board license in good standing.
• Active DEA license or eligibility.
• Emergency medicine experience or internship recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for sick and injured patients.
• Manage hospitalized patients and develop treatment plans.
• Perform surgeries and collaborate with technicians for high‑quality care.
• Support growth and excellence within a Thrive Pet Healthcare team.
