Cornell University Hospital for Animals in Ithaca, NY seeks a seasoned Emergency Veterinarian to join our staff ER team. You will deliver high‑quality emergent care for dogs and cats within a dynamic teaching hospital, supported by ECC specialists, residents, interns, and licensed technicians.
You will teach DVM students, engage in ongoing research, and participate in a 12‑shift overnight schedule with strong on‑call support. This role emphasizes life balance and academic growth.
The Cornell University Hospital for Animals invites applications from talented, energetic small animal veterinarians with strong communication skills for our staff Emergency Veterinarian role. The successful applicant will provide quality emergent care to client-owned animals in a dynamic teaching hospital. We successfully added two evening Emergency Staff Veterinarians to our team two years ago and are looking to continue to evolve the role to provide care for emergent cases presenting overnight.
Please note that this is an overnight position. The expected schedule will be Thursday - Saturday 10:00pm - 8:00am.
