Apex has boarded specialists in Surgery, Neurology, Anesthesiology, and Critical Care, along with our Emergency department. About the Role - Some highlights: Flexible scheduling and an emphasis on work-life integration. No non-competes. Competitive compensation with profit-sharing (when Apex does well, you benefit). 25% production bonus with $180k guaranteed base salary. A hospital designed with all staff in mind: Employee gym with Peloton. Quiet room for relaxation, meditation, nursing mothers. Great location with plenty of parking and access to a Metro station.

Responsibilities - Responsibilities include Emergency medicine: 2 years (Preferred). Veterinary experience: 2 years (Preferred).

Qualifications - Must demonstrate desire to continue learning in veterinary care and participate in leading staff training when-needed. Knowledge of medical equipment (e.g. X-ray machines) and anesthesia procedures. Problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language. Availability to take evening, overnight or weekend shifts in cases of emergency. Patience, a sense of humor, and a love for animals. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree.

Required Skills - Shift availability: Day Shift, Night Shift, Overnight Shift. Ability to Relocate: Silver Spring, MD: Relocate before starting work (Required).

Preferred Skills - Experience in Emergency medicine and Veterinary care.
