Job summary

VCA Animal Care Center of Sonoma County is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join a 24/7 hospital offering state‑of‑the‑art diagnostics and a collaborative team. You will work with 7 ER doctors and ~30 team members, including 10 RVTs, in a high‑volume setting focused on compassionate care.

The role emphasizes teaching, professional growth, and a strong client relationship ethos, with flexible scheduling for part‑time or full‑time candidates and nightly overnight coverage.

Schedule

Total Rewards

As a member of the VCA family, eligible full‑time employees will be rewarded with a comprehensive package, including:

Compensation

• The annual salary range for this position is $66,560 - $240K.
• Salary is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials. Salary range listed is based on a 40 hour work week.
• This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs.
