Ethos Veterinary Health's Clarksville Veterinary Emergency & Specialty is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join a collaborative team in Clarksville, TN. You’ll deliver high‑quality emergency care to a diverse caseload of companion animals and help guide patients from triage through stabilization.

This role emphasizes mentorship, ongoing clinical development, and access to specialty collaboration across Ethos' network.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload.

In Your Day-to-day, You Will

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions.
• Triage incoming patients, receive new emergency cases, and manage hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Collaborate closely with Emergency, Internal Medicine, Surgery, technicians, and support teams to provide exceptional patient care.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Participate in mentorship, continuing education, and ongoing clinical development.

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Completion of a rotating internship or experience practicing emergency medicine is preferred, but we are also open to experienced GPs interested in transitioning to ER.
• Confidence managing emergency cases and making sound clinical decisions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client‑centered approach.
