Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician (Relief) in Jacksonville, FL. You will join a fast-paced ER team, performing triage, treatments, anesthesia, and monitoring while supporting pet parents in stressful moments.

The role requires a CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential in the state, with 1+ year of experience; AVMA-accredited program strongly preferred. Nights, weekends, and holidays are on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• Credentialed veterinary technician in the state where VEG practice is located.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia and monitoring.
• Assist doctors, communicate effectively with teammates and pet parents.
• Handle emergencies, CPR, and critical care nursing with compassion.
